Kountry Bakery Field Trip

A HUGE thank you goes out to Kountry Bakery for letting us come tour the inside of the bakery to see how everything is made and for the donut holes and punch. 

Pumpkin Fun!!

Thank you to all the parents and students who brought in a pumpkin.  We have been using them for the past couple of weeks for many different activities and stations. We measured the pumpkins using cubes to see which was the tallest and shortest, we used a balance scale to see if a pumpkin was heavier or lighter than different objects in the classroom, we estimated how much string was needed to go around a pumpkin and then had to find something in the room that was the same length as their string.  We had fun carving a pumpkin and pulling out all the seeds from inside.
